Important! Because we care about you having an enjoyable (and safe) experience, we require new students to take a minimum of three Level 1 Flight classes before exploring Level 2 and beyond. Experienced aerial yoga practitioners new to Flight Room are invited to connect with Jen at info@flightroomseattle.com to have this requirement waived.
Level 1
Prerequisites: none
Zen Flight
Designed to lower stress, decompress and release stuck energy. The hour is a real treat and instructors will offer up anything from restorative movement, myofacial release, guided meditation or floating adjustments.
Beginner Flight
This delivers our signature FLOW Flight class at a pace accessible to those new to an aerial practice
Barre Flight
We swap the ballet barre for the hammock for a brand new challenge for the core (and a whole lot of fun!)
Yoga HIIT Mat
Move through an accessible yoga flow with bursts of high intensity cardio. Build your endurance, get sweaty and get those happy hormones flowing!
Vibe Flow
Raise your vibration! Vibe Flow pairs whole body vibration boards with a dynamic vinyasa yoga flow to strengthen and tone the body, stimulate detoxification and promote mental clarity and well being.
Classic Barre
Using the traditional ballet barre as support, this challenging class combines ballet conditioning, interval cardio, Pilates, yoga and mindfulness to cultivate strength from the inside out. Our Barre is inspiring, fun and produces visible results with impressive body toning and flexibility in just 10 classes. Set to motivating music and led by instructors with heart, this is one workout you’ll always look forward to. All levels and bodies welcome!
Fit Mat
This 50 minute fitness class unites elements of weight training, yoga and HIIT (high intensity interval training) while incorporating props to add extra challenge for the core. You’ll get FIT in record time!
Flow Flight
Let your soul come alive in a dynamic vinyasa style flow that moves in + around the hammock linking breath to movement. Expect to feel challenged, lengthened and refreshed.
Flexibility Flight
Open up! This creative flow-based class will focus on lengthening your muscles and creating space in the body. Whether you are working on your splits or deepening your backbends, the fabric will help safely guide you into a deeper stretch.
Level 3
Level 2 Prerequisites plus:
Able to somersault into/out of the fabric
Comfortably move into/out of inversions independently
Able to sit up into floating straddle/vitruvian man/seated buddha
Comfortable standing in fabric
At least 3 Level 2 Flight Classes
Power Flight
Prepare to be challenged! Working with resistance and gravity, you will flow through powerful asanas as you build stamina and improve your balance and core strength.
Intro to Play Flow
Let's learn to PLAY! We’ll work on building strength, balance and creative voice through new variations of asanas while we explore short, playful sequencing.
